At Rumble Cloud, we’re committed to keeping your data safe while enabling easy access to your cloud infrastructure. That’s why we’re excited to announce the launch of Two-Factor authentication (2FA), a powerful feature to enhance the security of your account.
What is 2FA?
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an extra layer of security for your online accounts and apps. Instead of relying solely on a password (which hackers might guess or steal), 2FA requires a second “factor” to prove it’s really you, such as a temporary code sent to your phone via text or app. Enabling 2FA makes your accounts much harder to breach, and set up is simple.
Why 2FA?
With 2FA, you add an extra layer of protection to your account, ensuring only you can access it. Some benefits of 2FA on Rumble Cloud include:
- Enhanced security: 2FA requires a second verification step
- Seamless experience: Identify your identity is seconds
- Flexible options: choose 2FA via email, SMS, or authenticator apps for added convenience
How 2FA works
2FA is now available not only on Rumble Cloud but on all Rumble platforms including Rumble Video, Rumble Studio, and Rumble Ad Center (RAC). To enable 2FA settings, visit http://rumble.com/account/security/ and select Setup Two-Factor Authentication.
You’ll be able to email as your initial 2FA method. Once enabled, you’ll use 2FA when you login to any of your Rumble services. After you initially enable 2FA, you can optionally switch to using SMS or an authenticator app.
Securely Onboard with Single Sign-On (SSO) & 2FA
With 2FA, we listened to your feedback and delivered the tools to protect your Rumble account like never before. Whether you’re a developer deploying apps, a business scaling operations, or an individual exploring our cloud solutions, 2FA + Single Sign-On (SSO) makes your first step easier than ever.
Use SSO to help make your onboarding experience even more smooth and secure. With SSO, you can:
- Get started in seconds: use your existing Facebook, Google, or Apple account to sign up or log in with just a few clicks.
- Simplify: no need to create or manage a new password, just use your existing credentials
- Stay secure: SSO leverages the security of these providers
To set up a new account using SSO, visit https://portal.rumble.cloud and select Sign In with Rumble, then select the provider to use for SSO (Facebook, Google, or Apple).
